In 2018, Mandalay Bay introduced more energy efficient and sustainable lighting systems within its exhibit halls.
More than 1,000 light fixtures were replaced with top of the line LED Lights, increasing luminescence range of interior halls by nearly 300% and reducing the facility’s energy consumption by 85%.
During load-in and load-out, lighting is set at minimum levels.
All exhibit halls, when not in use, are limited to emergency lighting only.
Lighting and escalator usage is controlled on level of business/number of people.
All booth power is shut off after hours unless 24 hr service is requested by exhibitor.
Mandalay Bay sorts all trash prior to pickup to maximize waste diverted from landfill.
