Identifying suspect batches of any product is an important part of the quality control process. Foreign materials can appear in products such as food, cosmetics, packaging materials, and a myriad of other finished consumer products, ingredients, excipients, food, beverage and product additives. In order to identify and quantify these unknowns, a variety of analytical methodologies are needed, such as FTIR, GC-MS, LC-MS, wet chemistry techniques, and more. Herein, we present case studies and strategies for the identification and quantification of foreign materials.

Natural bioactive molecules are poorly absorbed in the body. Liposomal technology is a delivery tool that protects bio-actives from rapid metabolism, while enhancing bioavailability with a protective phospholipid vesicle. However, it is only available in a liquid/suspension form due to the unstable nature of the
phospholipid bilayer - limiting its applications. ZEAL Technology overcomes
this challenge by making liposomal powders that are stable and offers wide range of opportunities in its application and usage.
