Nutritional Strategies for Exercise Recovery

The recovery period is when nutrients and energy are replenished and muscles get bigger, but inflammation, soreness and immunosuppression can challenge the body and delay readiness for the next activity. This session will outline:

  • The science of protein, amino acids, creatine and other dietary supplements for muscle recovery.
  • Anti-inflammatory and antioxidant ingredients for post-exercise joint soreness.
  • Optimizing metabolic recovery, including energy replenishment.
